Easy 3 Ingredient Cookies

By Kamlyn Jurgensen December 4, 2015
What do you get when you put candy, pie crust and powdered sugar together? The best 3 ingredient cookie around!

These little gems are an easy version of Russian tea cookies that are also packed with a surprise.

Ingredients
1 ready-made pie crust
Small candies like Hershey's kisses, Reese's mini cups, bite size Snickers or Rolos.
1 Cup of powdered sugar

Directions
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Lay out pie crust and cut in small squares (about 14)
3. Wrap a square of crust around each piece of candy
4. Roll dough covered candy in hands until smoother
5. Place cookie on sprayed or lined cookie sheet
4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 13-17 minutes (Check cookies frequently. They will be light on top, but browning on the bottom.)
5. When done baking, remove to a cooling rack and let cool until you are able to handle them
6. Drop cookies into bowl filled with powdered sugar
7. Roll cookies in sugar and then remove to cooling rack again
8. Once a little cooler, roll in powdered sugar again (Optional, but so worth it.)

Tips
Use the pie crust scraps to create more squares. They don't have to be perfect, just cover the candy.
Using a Silpat liner to bake your cookies makes them easier to remove especially if one of the candies exploded and leaked out.
