What do you like about living where you do?
DC and the surrounding area is such a clean, historical, exciting place to live. There is always something going on - so much that it is hard to choose what to do. It is filled with so many wonderful museums that are free and it is a true homeschooling family dream. So much of education is reading, but here we can see history in person! As a couple there are so many places to go on dates, and as a family it is a never ending adventure. It is also a multicultural area so we have learned more about people from different backgrounds, their religions, cultures, and cuisine.
What challenges are associated with living there?
This area can be expensive as far as housing is concerned, and because it is such a vast area, meeting and making friends can be slow at first.
