Happy Holidays!!

It's the last newsletter of 2014 and I can't believe 2015 is right around the corner. Finishing up the year with a bang, I've got some great reading for you.

Are you trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but finding it hard to do because of all the holiday temptations? I know I sure am. I've been baking and testing cookies for a cookie exchange later this month and my family is loving it. I do too, but I am finding it hard to choose the right food for lunch with all the goodies around, so I found some of the best salads on the internet that were easy, healthy and meal-worthy. You can find them in Salads that Make You Want to Eat a Salad

Speaking of holiday parties, December is generally packed with them. One of the most important questions we seem to ask ourselves, over and over, is "What do I wear?". Well, our guest blogger, Lauren Becker from It's Becker Style, has some tips for picking out the party dress for you. She believes that our bodies are perfectly imperfect and our clothes are the tools we need to accentuate the positive. Read her holiday dress tips in A Holiday Affair

Take the stress out of planning your holiday party with the commissary. They are there to help you pull off the best party, while saving you money and time. In How to Plan Your Holiday Party with the Help of the Commissary you'll see their online shopping list maker, recipes and advice from Kay's Kitchen and get some great cooking tips.

December is also a great time of year because military spouses can apply for scholarships through the National Military Family Association. To find out more information about the scholarships, click HERE.

This is the time for giving - and getting. I recently was able to walk through a hoarder's home and have revamped what I think of "stuff" now. You can read about my experience in When Enough is Enough

There's still time to get Christmas cards overseas before the big day. You'll find all the postal mailing deadlines for overseas HERE

Thank you all for your continued support and service to our country. We wish you a bright, shiny New Year.

Until 2015,
Kamlyn
