1. Gather the supplies - assorted hollow plastic figures, succulents, potting soil, paint suitable for plastic and a sharp cutting tool. 2. Cut a hole out of the top of the figure. If you have jagged edges that need cleaning up, a Dremel tool may help.
3. Lay out the figures to paint.
4. Apply paint in coats. Allow drying time in between each coat.
5. Once dry, fill your figures with potting soil and succulents.
